During the launch of Asus VivoBook 15 Series Laptops, Asus had to
face a huge level of controversies for some of their Laptops with some
limitations.
Especially When PC Builders Bangladesh published a
review of one Asus VivoBook Laptop full of criticism about
Asus's marketing gimmick and
controversial promotional activities, there was a big hype about
Asus VivoBook Laptops.
Facts Hunterrr also made a Review video of the Asus VivoBook 15 X512FL Laptop recalling the limitations Asus intentionally kept within the system of these Asus VivoBook Laptop.
The saddest part is you won't be able to utilize the maximum speed of the processor for your need. They just simply limited the CPU power for battery back-up with the cost of performance limitation.
As you might have known that Asus VivoBook 15 X512FL Laptops come with various Intel Processors such as 10th Generation Intel Core i3, Core i5, and some of these Laptops are also powered with 10th Generation Intel Core i7 Processors. And most of these processors are from Whiskey Lake and Kaby Lake.
The specialty of these processors is that they can run with less power consumption and extend battery life.
Another big sacrifice from these laptops was made by Asus skipping the dual-channel RAM expansion option replacing soldered RAM.
But there were some good things about Asus VivoBook 15 X512 Laptops too. For instance, the very tiny bezels of the display really look impressive to work on for a long time. Though the matte finish display provides fewer brightness nits the colors look great and sharp enough.

The 10th Gen Intel Core i3-1005G1 Processor is widely used in the Budget Laptops of 2020 and 2021. It's a low-power consuming chip for battery-efficient performance at the cost of less processing speed.
The good things that should be appreciated about these laptops are the 88% screen-to-body ratio, 5.7mm ultraslim bezel, 178° wide viewing angle, the lightweight design.
Of course, the battery backup is amazing but from my experience, the laptop should have been more speedy for performance seekers.
